Terms & conditions

The trading terms that apply to all quotations, orders and deliveries.

1. Definitions

“The Company” means Traction Hardware & Trading. “The Customer” means any person or entity purchasing goods or services from the Company. “Goods” means all products supplied by the Company.

2. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated, and are subject to stock availability and price changes by suppliers or exchange rate movement.

3. Orders and pricing

All prices are quoted in South African Rand and exclude VAT unless stated. An order is only confirmed once written acceptance or payment is received by the Company.

4. Payment

Cash and card sales are payable on order. Approved account customers are subject to 30-day terms from statement date. Overdue accounts may attract interest at the prescribed rate.

5. Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to the Customer on delivery or collection. Freight charges are quoted separately and depend on destination province.

6. Returns

Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery, in original packaging and unused condition. Special-order and cut-to-length items are not returnable. A handling fee may apply.

7. Warranties

Goods carry the manufacturer's warranty only. The Company will facilitate warranty claims but is not liable for consequential loss, downtime or loss of profit.

8. Ownership

Ownership of goods remains with the Company until payment is received in full.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
